in collaboration with guido gobino and antonio zaccardi
Uovo Rotto or Broken Egg, is a project that was created with my Freejungle brand in collaboration with starred chef Antonio Zaccardi and master chocolatier Guido Gobino.
The project was born from my idea of rebuilding a humanity disjointed during the pandemic. Inspired by the Japanese art of Kintsugi, that is, the reconstruction of broken ceramic objects using a golden mixture, I imagined an Easter egg that could become the candid reconstruction of itself following a break.
We developed the concept within FREEJUNGLE and shared it with Antonio and Guido who took care of the creation.
Each egg is unique, hand painted by Antonio and Guido, whereas we also developed the packaging in screen printing and in unique numbered pieces.
I strongly wanted the project to have a further cathartic meaning, not only in its essence but also during its life cycle. That is why we involved Made in Carcere and decided to donate part of the proceeds to this association, which deals with giving a second chance to women who have committed mistakes towards themselves and towards society.
WE HAVE DESIGNED A NATIONAL OFFLINE AND ONLINE CAMPAIGN FOCUSED ON THE AESTHETIC VALUE OF THE EGG AS THE MAIN VEHICLE OF THE ETHICS EMBEDDED WITHIN THE PROJECT.
THE RESPONSE OF THE PUBLIC: SOLD OUT IN SIX DAYS.
